Data Deletion
Your right to request removal of your personal data from Dravow.
What data does Dravow store?
When you use Dravow, we may store the following information associated with your account:
- Your name and email address provided at registration.
- Your ambassador or business profile (biography, location, profile image, riding/sport details, brand industry, company description).
- Connected social media accounts including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook — including platform handles, follower counts, engagement statistics, and OAuth access tokens (encrypted at rest).
- Historical performance snapshots used to display growth trends (retained up to 13 months).
- Applications, pitches, and messages exchanged between ambassadors and brands on the platform.
- For brands: Connected store integrations (Shopify access tokens), affiliate programs, brand tiers, and discount codes.
- Subscription and billing records — payment card details are held by Stripe, not Dravow.
- Your Dravow Ambassador Score (DAS) and associated sub-scores.
How to request data deletion
You can request deletion of your Dravow account and all associated data at any time using one of the methods below.
Option 1 — Disconnect a single social account
If you only want to remove data from one connected social platform but keep your Dravow account active: Log in to dravow.com, go to Settings → Connected Accounts, and click “Disconnect” next to the platform you want to remove. Your OAuth access token is revoked immediately, and all data synced from that platform is removed within 30 days.
Option 2 — Delete your entire Dravow account
Log in to dravow.com, go to Settings, scroll to the “Danger Zone” at the bottom, and click “Delete Account”. Type your email address to confirm and click “Confirm Delete”. You’ll receive a confirmation email with a 30-day recovery link. After 30 days, your account is permanently anonymized. Some records (affiliate conversions and financial bookkeeping) are retained for legal/tax compliance with no PII linkage.
Option 3 — Email request
If you cannot access your account, email support@dravow.com from your registered email address with subject “Data Deletion Request”. We’ll confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete deletion within 30 days.
Meta-initiated deletion (for Instagram users)
If you have connected your Instagram account to Dravow, you can also request deletion through Meta’s Instagram settings. Meta will send a signed deletion request to Dravow at:
https://www.dravow.com/api/auth/instagram/deletion
Dravow receives the request, identifies the corresponding user data, deletes it within 30 days, and provides Meta with a confirmation code. You can use that code to verify the status of your request.
To initiate this:
- Log in to instagram.com
- Go to Settings → Apps and Websites
- Find “Dravow” in the list of authorized apps
- Click “Remove” — this triggers Meta to send a deletion request to Dravow
What happens after a deletion request?
Once a deletion request is confirmed, here’s what happens:
- Your account is immediately scheduled for deletion in 30 days.
- You receive a confirmation email with a recovery link in case the deletion was a mistake.
- During the 30-day recovery window, you can restore your account using that link.
- After 30 days, your account is permanently anonymized — your profile, connected social accounts, applications, messages, and historical performance data are removed.
- Active Stripe subscriptions are canceled (no further charges will be made).
- Connected social media OAuth tokens are revoked and deleted.
- Some records are retained for legal/tax compliance — specifically affiliate conversion records and financial bookkeeping — but with no PII linkage to your former account.
What happens after permanent deletion?
Once your data is permanently deleted (after the 30-day recovery window expires), it cannot be recovered. If you create a new Dravow account in the future — even with the same email address — it will be a fresh account with no connection to your previous data. Past partnerships, programs, performance history, and connections will not be recoverable.
