Tree riding will humble you fast. This year I have focused more on staying in the trees and picking up the speed. Even though our snow year hasn't been the best, I feel like my riding from last year to this year has grown so much. This was also the first ride with the @3d_logik ik brake lever on and i have to say I am pretty stoked about it. This isn’t just about snowmobiles. It’s about purpose. After the military, I felt lost for a while, like a lot of guys do. The structure was gone, the mission was gone, and I was trying to figure out who I was without the uniform. Getting back on a sled brought something back I didn’t even realize I was missing. Focus. Discipline. Challenge. Freedom. Every climb reminds me that progress isn’t comfortable. Every stuck reminds me that quitting isn’t an option. And every view like this reminds me why I keep showing up. This is more than riding, it’s rebuilding, reconnecting, and proving to myself that hard things are worth chasing. Buying our first boat started something we didn’t know would become such a big part of our family. I grew up on a boat, but I never really thought I’d be doing the same thing with my own kids someday.

That first boat gave us a love for boating, being on the water, and most importantly, making memories together.

Now we have our second boat, and our first trip to Flaming Gorge was one for the books.

It’s easy to look at a boat and think, “Man, that’s a lot of money.” But you can’t put a price on the summers, the adventures, the laughs, and the memories our kids will grow up remembering.

Here’s to many more days on the water and giving our kids the same kind of memories I grew up with.
