As I sit here and reflect on the last 40 years of life, my eyes cannot help but fill with a joyful watery substance. I have so much to be grateful for, so many incredible memories, so many amazing humans in my life that I have the privilege to call family and friends, and so much yet to look forward to.
It’s crazy how, even at 40 years old, I’m still getting to know myself. One of the biggest things I’ve learned that drives me in this life aside from being healthy, is to make those who love me proud. Proud that I am a good man, a good husband, a good son, and a good friend. It’s important to me that all those who are in my life look to me this way, bust most importantly that I look to myself this way. And I do. I am damn proud of the man I’ve become, and so proud and grateful for this incredible life. #birthday

Backcountry riding just hits different when you understand the snowpack and conditions.

Last weekend I was able to volunteer and support my buddy @tathomas21 and the Sierra Avalanche Center on a Level 1 Motorized Avalanche Class. Helping other riders invest in their backcountry skills is wildly rewarding. Even better? The @savycenter offers these classes free to the public. 👀
